Charles and Sarah Reeves Spencer were my gr.gr.gr.greatgrandparents. I descend from their son William Robert "Buck" Spencer, he married Priscilla A.Alexander-children-1 Tennessee Angeline, 2 Amanda, 3 Susannah, 4 John Frances "Fannie" Spencer
I descend from their daughter Susannah who married William Charles Winchester-children-1 Newton William,2 Marion Wheeler, 3 Gus, 4 Clarence, 5 Robert, 6 Sarah (Clanton)
Their son Newton William Winchester was my great grandfather,he married Pearlie Jane Austin. Their children:1 Floyd, 2 Mary Bee (Davis), 3 Evelyn J.(Sherrod), 4 Emory, 5 Sarah Laree (Taylor)
Evelyn J.Winchester Sherrod was my maternal grandmother.
From the information I have Samuel Spencer was the father of Charles Spencer born abt. 1774 Burke co.,NC
Charles and Sarah Reeves Spencer are buried in Millegeville, TN. "Old Salem" cemetery along with their daughter Sarah Adaline who died at the age of 16 in 1835. I posted pictures of the graves and cemetery on "Find a Grave"
