William Buck Roach was born in 1806 in Orange County, NC. His first son, first marriage, was James Fisher Roach. Apparently the nephew of William Buck is Manley Roach. One of Manley's sons, William, was living in Jackson, TN.in late 1880's. Places they either lived or had some connection were Mud Creek, Morris Chapel, Crump, and Coffee Landing in Hardin County, TN.
