Jackey - My great, great grandfather was Joseph Robinson (1796-1864). Wife was Urania (1805-1890). I have not been able to trace him further back but have info on his family and later rels. He moved from TN to Illinois at some point and is buried near Vandalia, IL in Pinhook Cemetery. If you would like the info I have let me know. I can send you my family GEDCOM file or can try to make a report which would include just the Robinson side (in MS Word).
If you have info on Joseph's father I would love it. I think Joseph came from NC.
