Bonnie, I lived close to a village called Childers Hill, Tn. growing up. Could this be the place you refer to? It is located close to Counce and Pickwick, Tn. Many Childers family lived there, in fact my Aunt Velma's mother was a childers. I assume it was named that because so many Childers lived there and it was on a hill. Hope this helps.
