Looking for info on the family of Mary Jane Guthrie who married Wiley Jones Walker(Cherokee). They married in 1825 and were married by George Walker the Justice of Peace in Hardin Co at that time. Mary was said to have been descended from the Buckingham's of England. Not sure where she was born, but think possibly in TN-Hardin Co. She was b. abt 1809. They had these children: Martha Belcher(wife of John C Belcher), Evergreen Hawkins-Sawyers(first m. a William Henry Hawkins, then a Thomas Henry Sawyers), Rhoda(Wife of William N Hockins/Hawkins), Julia
Ann, Elizabeth C Hawkins(wife of Benjamin Hawkins), William and N Vinell(Venny) a girl. These last two were twins.Venny married an Allison A Whatley from Rockwall,TX. Venny was still living in 1900. If you connect please mail me at dddmdoss@cs.com Thanks Shelby
