Searching for information on Simon Peter Woodring and the family of Florence Bell Hammond.
Simon Peter (S.P.) Woodring was born in 12/3/1893 in N.C. He was the son of Joseph and Jennie Woodring. Simon Peter came to TN after possibly a run in with the law in N.C. His family stayed in N.C. while he moved away.
Florence Bell Hammond was born in 3/23/1893 in Florence, Lauderdale County, AL. She was the daughter of William Thomas (Tom) Hammond and Josephine Ripley Hammond. Tom and his family moved to TN after Tom killed a man in Lauderdale County, AL (rumored).
Simon and Florence were married in 1910 in Hardin County, TN.
After Tom had another run in with the law there, Tom and his family moved into AR and Simon and Florence followed.
I would appreciate any info that you might be able to provide on these families. I would love to find any type of court records, etc... Thanks for any help/leads.
