My gggrandfather James Wilson Jenkins came to Hardin Co in the 1830's and was granted 197 acres in the sixth range, section 1. There is a cemetery just off County Home Rd about 4 miles SE of Savannah, with 5 unmarked graves only, we think may be where he and his family may be buried. Does anyone in Hardin County know if this location is in the 6th range in section 1 ? They are not listed in any of the other cemeteries in the county.
