Bowen Family on 1850 census
Posted by: Susan Lane (ID *****3417) Date: December 27, 2003 at 14:11:02
  of 1153

On the Hardin County census of 1850, My John Bowen was listed with his family. John was married to Susannah, He was a schoolmaster. He had four children still at home, Sophia, Nancy, Martha and Lorenzo. After 1850 I never again found any of the daughters and hope they married in Hardin County. If anyone has info on marriages in Hardin County, I would love to find the spouses of these girls. I would also love to find at which school, John was school master. This family left Hardin County before 1860, but the son moved back some years later in the 1860s and had children there. HELP ME FIND THE GIRLS IN THIS FAMILY PLEASE. Thanks in advance for any help.
