Teresa,
I am also looking for information on the Smith Wotheron and John Wotheron in Hardin Co., Tn found in the 1836 Tax List.
John is not in the 1837 list but Smith is.

Do you know what part of Hardin county the 2nd Civil Dist. was located in 1836?

I descend from John's first wife (unk) and not Nancy Hardin but have found more information doing the side line families than working a straight family line.

My direct lines are: Warthen (any spelling), Gatlin, Fletcher, Stringer, Chitwood, Mangum, etc
Indirect TN Warthen lines are: Hardin, Butcher, Lee, Copeland, Kilburn, Dean, Duvall, Clayton and Kitchens,
