YARBER/YARBRO/YARBROUGH'S in TN

I am trying to find the parents/siblings of my gr, gr, grandmother, Shorty Yarber. Her name may have been Mary Jane. An older fmaily member thoguth that she remembered that her real name was Mary Jane. She was born in 1814 in TN. She was in Lauderdale Co., AL in 1836 when she married my gr, gr grandfather, John McClain on Jul 23, 1836 in Lauderdale CO. AL. She used the name Shorty Yarber on her marriage record.
They are on the censuses in Lauderdale Co., AL from 1840-1860 and then they disappear. John/James McClain was born in 1812 in TN.
Some of their children left AL between 1890 and 1900 and moved to Hardin Co., TN and some went on to Dyer Co. My gr grandfather, John Wilson MCClain and wife, Martha "Mattie" Rayburn McClain, stayed in Hardin Co. The Rayburn's were originally from TN and had moved to Lauderdale Co., AL also.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks
Charlotte McClain Christensen
