Thanks for the info. I am getting confused as to wether or not William (Millie's brother) or William (Millie's son) is who I am talking about because they were both William Waldrop.
I found a funeral home record with the name of Martha Jane Arnett ( married name) b. 6/11/1871 d. 12/9/1952 and listed as her father was William W. Waldrop. Listed as her mother was Lottie Wells.
In the 1880 Census the family of William Waldrop has a Martha J. Waldrop listed as age 8 but the mother on the census is listed as Charlotte Waldrop age 33.
I have just figured it out, my family decends from Millie's brother William Waldrop not Millie's son William.
