McClains and Davys in Hardin Co, TN

I am searching for more info on Sarah Ellen McClain married to Richard D Davy in Hardin Co. They are my grandparents. I have info on the Davy's but not on the McClains. Sarah Ellen's death certificate said her mother was a Scott. I found Oscar and Elizabeth W McClain in the 1900 Hardin Co census with Sarah Ellen and her two children living with them. I know her husband had already died. I am searching for info on her parents. I can not find them in any other census records in Hardin Co or the area before or after that date. Does anyone have info on any of these people?
