It's strange how things tend to jog your memory. I can't be sure but Opal lightly rings some bells. Can't be sure. So... here it goes.

My grandmother came from Brownsville Tennessee. Her mother was Emma Jones who married an Arthur Boyd. Her name was Helen. She has 5 other siblings. There names as best as I can remember them are Billy Jean, Arthur, Jones, Claude, and Uncle Pudding (which is not his real name but I have no idea what it really is).

My grandmother doesn't talk much about the past, and it took me a little bit to even get what my g.grandfather's name was. So, I am looking for anything I can get my hands on, especially if you think that your Emma and my Emma are the same person.

I'd love to know siblings and parents of Emma. As much of her ancestry as you might have as far back as you can get it. It doesn't matter what race these ancestors are. Such things don't bother or offend me as they might some people, LOL.

I'd also like to know the desendants of any of Emma's siblings. I'm tracing my children's lineages but I'm also out to find cousins and it looks like you are one. You would make "long lost" cousin number four I have found. And that's fantastic for me... it makes the occasional dead ends and frustration of genealogy completely worth it. Funny thing is... you would sort of complete it. I have found a cousin from my mom's mom's side, my mom's dad's side and my dad's dad's side... you would be from my dad's mom's side.

Feel free to email me at my email address angelofsol@yahoo.com and title the email something like Boyd genealogy or Jones genealogy so I don't loose it in all the SPAM.

I hope to hear from you soon and hope in my excitement I haven't rambled.

-D
