i have a james strode listed in my family line as my 5th great grandfather. i do not have any dates . i do have him listed as being married to a Martha [ which could be mary} i do have them being the parents of george strode born in jackson co tn about 1847 and died in 1920. George Strode married Lizzie {elizabeth} Carnahan. they lived in Jackson co. tn near the whitleyville area on what was listed in the early 1900's as nigger creek. I'm sorry i dont have more information...this may not even be your line because i dont have any info on a daughter of james strode..
