Jim,
I couldn't say at this point. Don't have any info in front of me here and had hoped someone had probate/will/estate info on either or both of these guys. DNA testing shows we south Alabama Franklins are indeed related to Owen's Jefferson county bunch and I'm working to tie it all together. Headed to Bama this weekend for some research in AL and GA and hope to turn up some new leads on my bunch that will help me tie them in where they all belong. I have info in files but it is all boxed up and I need to sort out the Jefferson county group now that I know there is indeed a connection somewhere.
