Heres the deal: I have a missing link named Cora Davis ,bn 1874, md. Frank Jones May 7 1892 in Cocke Co. She cannot be tied to any Cocke Co. Davises.
I have a photo of her in 1904. On the back is handwritten, from B.F. Davis, jefferson Co.
She is not tied to Benjamin Franklin Davis, son of Joshua Franklin and Pharibe.
There is a Benjamin Franklin Davis bn Sept 9, 1879, son of James Bradshaw Davis of Jefferson Co. James Bradshaw md. Martha Jane Rankin and he is the son of Nicholas davis and Mary Landrum.
Can anyone help me out there ?
Cannot find my Cora on any 1880 census for Cocke, Jefferson, or Sevier cos. The 1890 census is gone, and I find her married in Cocke co. in 1900 and dead before 1905.
