Looking for any information on the Reuben and Drury Wallace family of Carter and Johnson County Tennessee. Reuben married Elizabeth Stewart (parents John and Nancy Mathews(Matthews), Drury married Elizabeth Snyder. Who is Thomas Wallace, age 60-69 living near Drury and Rueben. Also, there is conjecture that Reuben Wallace who had Josiah Wallace and other siblings in Grayson, Virginia and Ashe North Carolina might be related, perhaps even the father. I have been following the line back and it SEEMS that the Wallace line might move back from Ashe County NC to Virginia by way of Grayson Co., Botetourt Co., Rockbridge Co., Montgomery Co., and Augusta Co., I am looking for any type of confirmation. Also looking for the John Wallace mentioned with Drury, Reuben and Thomas in the Carter Co., Census, 1830. Is he the John Wallace who is in Roane County in 1850 (same county where Rueben is living prior to his trip to Ozark Co., Missouri where he died). Elizabeth Stewart married Godfrey Dunn in Humphreys Co in 1856 (the Dunn line is also from Johnson Co.). Also always interested in any of the family connections in Humphreys and Dickinson Co. Tennessee (where Elizabeth and family moved to after Reuben's death). Interested in the Wallace, Dunn, Stewart and Mat(t)hews lines especially.
