Betty,
I'm not certain that Ross? lived to have children.
Note that in the 1900 Census his name has been spelled "Rauss" and in the 1910 Census his name has been spelled "Rousse". There is a death record in Wheeler Co. Oregon (where Daisy was living in 1910) that may indicate this is her son:

Name: Eggers, Fred Ronsse
County: Wheeler
Death Date: 10 Aug 1917
Certificate: 18

Ronsse is so close to Rauss and Rousse, that this might be worth researching.
