It shows on his muster in papers for the 6th East Tennessee infantry papers the he was 22 when he was mustered in April 1862. His pension application shows him with different ages within the same year so may be it could be him. I will take it and see how much further I can go back with the information. Thanks, I quess I wasn't thinking earlier today.
