I am posting this note in hopes that someone will see it and read it.
My Father had a brother Leo Gaither Jenkins. He was living in Maryville, Tenn. when he died. Before moving to Tenn. he lived new Birmingham, Ala. He lived in the town of BestmerAla.
What we do know is Leo Gaither use to take a lot of pictures of his sisters and brothers as well as other members of his family.
The Jenkins family did not get any of those pictures.
We would like to know if any one of the people in Maryville or whoever took care of him has any of the pictures that Leo Gaither had.
Me and my husband is next in line in the Jenkins family and those pictures should have gone to us. Leo Gaither Jenkins was the son of William Leslie Alonzo Jenkins. My husband and I was not even told of Leo Gaither's death.
We had to find out about it when I was researching for genealogy. We tried to get in touch with Leo G. Jenkins and his wife Rubie and found they had moved away and we had do one to tell us where they had gone.
I found that they had gone to Tennessee and now that he is dead. My husband and I would love to have some of the very old pictures that Leo G. Jenkins took of his family, which is of my family. I am in hopes that he has or had some pictures of our grandfather and our great uncles among his pictures.
