We are seeking information regarding William Simon Brumett, born about 1819 in Knox County, TN, and died after 1860 Census, and before February 1867 when his widow, Elizabeth Jane Cowan remarried to Lewis Houser. William Simon is the son of William H Brummett (1800-1852 Knox County, TN) and Elizabeth Johnson.
They reportedly had six children - Sarah Elizabeth, Jackson, James Allen, Catherine, William David, and Caroline.
One Ancestry tree suggested he died 1862, but no proof has been located.
Could someone please let us know where he is buried in Knox County, TN, and if the above information needs revision.
