Betty Riffey, 77, of Knoxville, TN, passed away Thursday,
April 2, 2009. She was a former member of Liberty Baptist
Church.
She was preceded in death by parents, Alex and Cecil
Riffey; infant son, Billy Ray; and sister, Dorothy Raridan.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Bill Riffey;
daughter and son-in-law, Lorene and Eddie Sharp; son,
Sonny Riffey; sister, Virginia Bormes; four grandchildren;
four great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her
loving dog, Annie.
The family will receive friends at Lynnhurst-Greenwood
Chapel, Sunday, April 5, 2009, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.,
with the funeral service to follow at 7 pm.
Family and friends will assemble at 10:45 a.m., Monday,
April 6, 2009, at Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11 a.m.
graveside services.
