Owen/Owens marriage record lookup in Lauderdale County

I found my great grandfather Russel J. Owen on the 1880 Lauderdale County census. His parents are listed only by their initials, J R and D B. I haven't been able to trace them further because of this. I was hoping I could find a marriage record or other record with a J R Owen/Owens. Maybe he used his full name on it. J R Owen was born approximately 1850 and would have married around 1868.
