WILLIAM L., EULA, AND EUNICE RALEY

Looking for relatives of Eula and Eunice Raley, whose deaths are listed in the Social Security Death Index. Eunice died in 1994 and Eula in 2000. The last residence for both of them was Tiptonville, Lake County, Tennessee. However, they are buried in the Ripley Memorial Gardens. William L. Raley and his wife, Dorothy Elice Delk, are also buried at Ripley.

Eula's and Eunice's SS numbers were issued in Florida in 1965, and, coincidentally, there is only one digit difference in the numbers, which suggests they applied for Social Security simultaneously. Furthermore, their birthdates are the same-January 8. In the SSDI,the birth year for Eunice is 1913 and for Eula is 1914. On the website where I found the burial information, however, both of their birthdates are listed as January 8, 1912.

I believe Eula, Eunice, and William were the children of Daniel Green Raley and Indiana Mae Howell, who were born and lived in Florida. Eula and Eunice are in the 1945 State of Florida census; they are unmarried. They had one brother, William L. Raley, and one sister, Calis Indiana Raley. Calis had at least one daughter named Nancy, but I don't know whether William had any children.

Daniel Green Raley was the son of Wilson Lumpkin Raley, Sr., brother of my great-great grandfather, Benjamin M. Raley. Lumpkin and Benjamin were born in Georgia but later moved to Florida where they died.

I have a photo that I believe is Daniel Green Raley's family. There is an older boy, two girls that appear to be twins, and a younger girl in the photo. The photo was probably taken around 1917. I will be happy to send this photo to any one of Daniel's descendants.

If you have any information about William, Eula and Eunice Raley, I would appreciate your contacting me.
