On 1870 Lawrence Co., TN Census, Dist 1, Wayland Springs, p. 4 - There is a James D. White age 25, b. TN, with wife Manda J. age 19, b. TN. Can anyone give name of parents for each and maiden name for Manda J.? By 1880 this same family is found in Giles Co., TN, p. 24, with two children: Martha J. White, b. ca 1872 TX; James W. White, b. ca 1875 TX.
I am trying to determine if the 'James D. White' referenced above is same as James D. G. White, b. ca 1844 AL/TN (depending on which census you look at). Thanks and all help will be greatly appreciated.
