I am trying to find information on James Roland Cobb (b. 8/6/1860 in Lamar Co., AL d. 5/23/1926 in Lawrence Co., TN). He married two times. The first time to Ann Eliza Smothers (b. 12/14/1860 in SC d. 4/3/1905 in Winston Co., AL). He married the second time to Mattie Gleaton (b. 12/1/1877 in GA d. 7/6/1951 in Lawrence Co., TN). James was in AL until 1920, when he is listed on the census in Upshur Co., TX. When he died he was in Lawrence Co. Mattie is listed on the 1930 Lawrence Co., TN Census as head of household with children Mollie, Arthur, and Cecil).
James and Ann had the following children:

William Thomas Cobb b. 4/9/1886 d. 8/9/1947 (married Arizona Leviticus Gaines)
John L. Cobb b. 1889
Ida Cobb b. 6/22/1873 d. 6/28/1970 (maried Henry Davis Johnson)
Ada Cobb b. 8/10/1895 d. 2/14/1976 (married Guy S. Johnson)
Naomi Cobb b. 1896 (possibly married John Eaton)
Vannah Cobb b. 1897 (married a Hood)
Richard Cobb b. 1902
Dallas D. Cobb b. 1904
James and Mattie's children were:
Arthur Cobb b. 1917
Mollie Cobb b. 3/30/1915 d. 1/11/1986 (married Stanley Beatty) died in CA
Cecil Cobb b. 1927 (census says this is a female)
I am descended through James and Ann's son William Thomas.
