I'm hoping you can help me. I'm helping a friend of mine on her family and we found in an obituary for her father, Jessie (Jesse) Oren Mitchell his mother's maiden name was McAnally. Jessie Oren Mitchell's parents were William H. Mitchell and Ellen (Ella) C. McAnally. The Mitchell family lived in Lawrenceburg, Lawrence Co.,Tennessee and Jesse, William H. and Ella are all buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, Tennessee on the highway close to the Lawrence Co/Wayne Co Tenn line. We don't know who Ella's parents nor do we know William H. Mitchell's. Do these names sound familiar? Jesse was born Nov.1894 Tenn. d.1957 Lawrenceburg TN.; William H. Mitchell b. Jan. 1860 Arkansas or Tenn., Ella McAnally b. March 1861.(acording to the census) Thanks in advance for any help.
