Hello Larry,
Thank you! Thank you so much for this wonderful information about the Battle of Sugar Creek! I think my John Edward Hardiman may have fought in this battle. He was in Company K, 2'nd Tenn. Infantry. He was born abt. 1812 in Virginia, and died July 1886 near Sugar Creek, Lawrence Co., Tenn., and was buried at the Crabb / Richardson Cemetery, just a few mile's from Sugar Creek, and Idaho Road, east of Five Point's, Tn.! He don't have a marker, but I'm planning on ordering him a Confederate Military Marker, and place it myself at the Crabb Cemetery! I had several other Great Grandfather's who could have fought during this battle. Wilson Britton was also in the Civil War, from Giles Co., Tenn.! I really appreciate all the info., and will always use it in my research.
