Shirly, I went to the Lewis County library today and looked for the wills. They weren't on the microfilm. The film skipped the years you need. I'm sure that is the reason Brenda Willis didn't have them. Did you get the page and book numbers from her book? The state copied all the books from the courthouse a number of years ago onto microfilm and for some reason, there is a skip. You may find the following interesting. For a few weeks I have been talking with a relative of Ann Stringfellow Smith. He is 95 and has told me about the family. And to make the world smaller, my grandfather once owned the home located at the site where the Smith family lived. The Smith family cemetery WAS at this location. The old fence and the site was cleared a number of years ago.
