I don't research HINSON line but they did marry into my DAVIDSON lines.

ELIJAH HINSON b. May 22, 1815 NC d. 1895 married Eveline DAVIDSON b. Sept. 09, 1822 TN. They lived in McNairy Co. TN it is felt and then moved to Lewis Co. TN by about 1850. After Lewis Co. TN, Elijah Hinson family moved to PERRY CO. TN. Elijah Hinson was the son of GEORGE W. " PUNKY " HINSON and ELIZABETH " BETSY" UPTON.

EVELINE DAVIDSON b. 1822 TN is sister of my GG Grandfather, JAMES MONROE DAVIDSON b. 1825 Hickman Co. TN. The DAVIDSONS are in Hickman by 1825 and we "think" Eveline and Elijah Hinson left there before the 1840 McNairy Co. TN census as he is found as ELIJAH HENSON on that census, as I recall.
