Seeking info. about the descendant's of Wilson & Althenia Elizabeth "Harris" Scott! Wilson was born abt. 1800/1810 in Va., and died May 24, 1847 in Lincoln Co., Tenn. He was the son of Andrew & Catherine Caty Scott. Andrew was born abt. 1772/1773 in Washington Co., Va., and died abt. 1819 in Lincoln Co., Tenn. Catherine (maiden name unknown) was born abt. 1780, and died after 1850 probably in Lincoln Co., Tenn. She was list'ed on the 1850 Census of that county, with her two daughter's Ann, & Jane Scott. Catherine's maiden name has been unknown for some time! Some claim she may have been a Buchanan, or a Hartsell, but nothing has been found to prove this so far. Wilson had three brother's who moved to Montgomery Co., Arkansas. They were John Scott, Lewis B. Scott, and William T. Scott. Wilson and two other brother's stay'ed in Lincoln Co., Tenn. They were Samuel, and Joseph Benton Scott. Wilson & Althenia had 11 children, one of their daughter's was Mary Jane Scott, who was born 1841, and died aft.1876. She married John Edward Hardiman Feb. 12, 1860 in Lawrence Co., Tenn.! John E. & Mary Jane "Scott" Hardiman were my 2'nd Great Grandparent's! Mary Jane's sibling's were ; John Harris, Martha Chesser, Nancy Catherine McAlister, Andrew Jackson Scott, who married Mary Ann Owens. Margaret Ann Scott, James W. Scott, Thomas M. Scott, who married Virginia Phillips, William Scott, Benjamin Franklin Scott, who married Mary E. Pearce, & Emily Jane "Owens" Hardiman. And Althenia Elizabeth "Scott" Davis.
