In answer to James Sikes

I am somewhat tardy in posting this. I don't believe the postings can be correct. Nancy is probably the daughter of James and Charlotte; but the brothers Howell, Jesse, and James most likely are not. Howell is born in 1785, right before the recorded death of James. But Jesse and James are born in the early 1790's. I believe these brothers to be the sons of another James, born about 1759, and his wife, who I now believe was named Lydia or Liddia. I believe this James is the James who shows up as receiving the Rev War pension in Lincoln County. They all pass through and spend time in White County, Tennessee, on their way to Lincoln County, where Nancy Sikes Bunn is living.
