I have tracked my ancestors to Lincoln County, Tennessee. I am hoping to find others researching the same names or the same surnames at least.
I am looking for ancestors (or descendants) of Daniel J. Huffman, 14 Feb 1834 to 23 Sept 1899. His son John William Huffman (24 Aug 1859 to 18 June 1930) was my great grandfather.
I am also looking for ancestors (or descendants) of his wife, Mary Jane Jamieson (7 Apr 1832 to 1 July 1900).
Death Certificates of their children listed them as both being born in Lincoln County, Tennessee.
The 1880 Census lists them as living in Bedford County, Tennessee, not Lincoln. Also Daniel J's parents were both listed as being born in North Carolina, and Mary Jane Jamieson's parents were both listed as being born in Virginia.
