I am looking for the name and birth dates of the father and mother of Elisha K Brown, b. 1819 in Tennessee or North Carolina m. Emily Sanford (maiden name unsourced), b. 1826 in Tennessee. I would also like to know where they lived after 1860.
They had the following children as of 1860:
Mary Brown F 1844 in Tennessee, USA
John Brown M 1845 in Tennesse, USA
Henry Brown M 1846 in Tennessee, USA
Josiah Brown M 1847 in Tennessee, USA
James Brown M 1848
Thomas Beulah Brown M 1849 in Tennessee, USA
William Jasper Brown M 15 Dec 1850 in Tennesse, USA
Elisha Brown M 1853 in Tennessee, USA
George Brown M 1854 in Tennessee, USA
Elizabeth Brown F 1855 in Tennessee, USA
Robert Brown M 1858 in Tennessee, USA
I found them listed in the 1850 US Federal Census in McNairy and 1860 US Federal Census in Madison (which was mistakenly transcribed as Macon on Ancestry.com). I have not able to locate this family in the 1870 US Federal Census.
