There are several Rogers families living in Marion Co. TN. I have not tried to place John and Melinda as they did not seem to fit my Rogers family. It is very possible that William might be a son of John and Melinda as he continues to live near them.

Have you read any of the surviving deed records in Marion Co.? Also, there are surviving documents in Nashville for Marion Co. Have you checked the Marion Co. history book? I believe that they have done one in the past. Also, look for church records. If William lived into the 20th C., you need to check his death certificates or the death certificates of those you believe are his siblilngs.
