Does anyone have access to the 1830 and 1840 Marshall Co. Tn census records that wouldn't mind checking on George W. Collins for me. I don't know his birthdate, but he adopted William H. Collins in 1840 in Marshall Co. TN who was b. abt. 1824 and was an orphan at that time. The security was Henry Collins, probably a brother to George. He was probably my William's uncle so may have been born 1804-1810. NOt sure. If I could find Geroge W. Collins parents, I might be able to find my Williams dad's name. I am stuck in the 40's. Can anyone help me? Thank you.
