I have found some records for a Josiah Dixon (late 1700's and early 1800's) from Marshall County. I know he was a land owner and the father of Matthew Dixon. Matthew is buried in Talley Cemetery. I am looking for any additional information on these men (especially, Josiah). Any background information on Henry and Abraham Talley would also be appreciated. I know Henry came to Tennessee from Virginia. Henry was born in 1779 and owned land around Possum Trot Road and Talley Station. Abraham was born in 1782. Henry is buried at Talley Cemetery. I would like to trace them both back to Virginia.
