THE NASHVILLE TENNESSEE
March 2, 1930

SPRING HILL

Miss Mary Virginia Bailey entertained at bridge Wednesday afternoon at her home on Jackson highway. The reception room was beautifully decorated in roses and jonqiuis and two tables of players enjoyed the game. Thos playing were: Misses Alice and Mary Pol___, Virginia Parks, Mesdames Herbert Arnold, C.H. Lyons, Alfred Williams and Mrs. J.G. Baley. At the concusion of the game a delcious saad (probably means salad. mb.) course was served.--

Mrs. Rose Cheairs entertained at recent dinner, Mr. and Mrs. Wharton Cheairs and daughter, Jane of Columbia, Miss Oliva Martin of Happy Valley, Mrs. A.E. Greenlaw and Miss Anna King of Peabody college.---

Mrs. Dave Kinnard entertained the members of her Sunday school class recently at her home on Duplex road. The members present were Sarah and Rugh Pillings, Beulah S. Mays, Octavine and Jane Meil Lovelace, James Bone, Joe Wright, J.C and Vaden Anderson and Hugh Roddy. Games were enjoyed by the little folks and delicious refreshments were served. Mrs. Kinnard was assisted in entertaining by Mr. and Mrs. Sam Pillings.--

Miss Bille Dobbs spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.S. Curry, and had as her guests ten school mates from Columbia Institute, Misses Darline Balch of Chicago and Virginia Cheshire of Atlanta.
