This doesn't pertain to the connection from Parks to the Toombs, but is Reuben Parks from Lincoln County, TN. If so, his sister, Nancy, married James Sikes, who died about 1857-58, around Lynchburg. Nancy then moved on to Galatin, Illinois, with children Rufus, Reuben, Mary, and Sofronia. After 1870, she disappears. Her last name is listed as Parkes, but she has a brother Reuben.
