Thanks for the answer to at least one of the players in this drama. Proofs a family story. Did you find the information in Methodist Church information? or in County information?
I noticed you other research areas. I have a James Wright who married a Tabitha Smith on 7 Dec 1793 Granville Co. NC Both died in Henry Co. TN, James in 1834 and Tabitha in 1840 ap. They had at least one daughter Sarah Wright b 1798 NC and married 8 Jan 1822 to William A. Dunn b 1796 NC Sarah died in TN and William in either TN or KY as he had land in both states. Not a lot of help but you can add him to your list of James's... Sometimes it would be nice if they named a child an odd name that would stand out in records!! Thanks again for your answer Beth
