Ebenezer Rice, Missionary to Cherokee Indians in 1820-1830's

I descend from Joseph Eveleth/Patience Hunt and their 5th daughter 'Ruth of Stow'. She married EBENER RICE, Revolutionary War Patriot who fought out of Vermont, on 18 Dec 1791 in Hubbardston, MA. They then moved to Tinmouth/Rutland/VT where my ancestor and their son Joel was born, and where Ebenezer worked as a missionary to American Indians in that region.

When Ebenezer died in Maury/IL in 1831, he left a will naming 'my beloved wife Henrietta' and then names all of his remaing chidlren and grandchildren (of Roland already deceased).

I am attempting to have Ebenezer Rice and my line to Joseph Eveleth accepted by the DAR for their service in the Rev. War. As it is well known that Ruth of Stow, was the 5th daughter of Joseph and Patience Hunt, and named after their first daughter Ruth who died at age 7, I need a birth record that names Ruth and Ebenezer Rice as the mother/parents of Joel (or ANY of her children) or Ebenezer and Henrietta Rice as this parents.

Does ANYONE have a birth record, a bible page, a letter, a document of any kind taht shows that Ruth of Stow and Henrietta Rice are the same woman?

Thank you,
Donna Crosby
