February 22, 1928 THE NASHVILLE TENNESSEAN (Special to the Tennessean) Columbia, Tenn., Feb. 21.--Mrs. Maude Ella Howell, 36 widow of Jesse Howell, died this morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. G.W. Cranford, in Riverside. Her husband died last May. Mrs. Howell was born reared and had spent practically all her life in thei county, being Miss Maude Ella Dillehay before her marriage to Mr. Howell in 1906. To this union five children were born, they are Milton Howell of Birmingham, Miss Virginia Howell, James R. Howell, Miss Mary Elizabeth Howell and Jessie Wilma Howell. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary Dillehay of Lewisburg; and two sister, Mrs. George W. Cranford and Mrs. A.L. Watson of Columbia; two brothers John Dillehay of Lewisburg, and William Dillehay of Columbia. She had been a member of the Christiian chruch since early in life. The funeral will be Tuesday at the chapel of the Maury Undertaking company by Elder Ben F. ___rding. Transcribed from an orginial newspaper Notify Administrator about this message?
