John, I entered the meager information in your posting and find that you are my 4th cousin, once removed.
I don't believe that I can open a file in Ancestry.com, as I'm not a memeber. Could you send me a gedcom of what you have as the descendants of Van Davis and Susannah Roberts or an url that I can open?
Tell me what you would like from me. My Edmund Robert's descendant file is huge. I also have his first wife, Elizabeth McNeill, ancestry several generations back into Scotland, well documented.
