Hello,
I am looking for records about John Adair's life in McMinn County, TN. He moved there from Pennsylvania about 1837 and lived in the Athens area until his death in 1888. He attended Methodist Episcopal Church, South and was a trustee there. His wife's name was Margaret (Clark) and they had six children, Mary J, William Clark, Sarah M., Rebecca E., Letitia N., and Julia P..
He was a master carpenter and I am wanting to know if he had a business or worked for someone.
I am hoping to find out where exactly his home was; an address.
Does anyone know anything that would help?
