Lela, (possibly Wyatt), wife of a "King", possibly Robert L. King, md. 1912

Hi,

I am looking for information on the 2nd wife of my great-grandfather, James M. Hicks. He married 'Lela King" in 1916 in McNairy Co., TN. She was said by family history to have been previously married and had a daughter named Pearl.

I found a marriage record for a Robert L. King to Lela B. Wyatt in McNairy Co., in 1912, but I'm not certain this is the right Lela. Our family history suggests Lela was born about 1897 which would have made her only 15 in 1912.

Appreciate any information on Lela or her daughter Pearl (King).

Thanks!
Christi Partee
