No Giles/Jiles appear in the 1850, 1860, 1880 Meigs Cemsus.There were three other Giles's in the 1900 Meigs census: Chris D., age 36, Nancy 26 James C?, age 55, (could be a brother of Samuel?), widower; Willliam 31, (Feb 1870),Cora 19 (Jan1881) and William, 1, (Apr1899) Giles and Jiles appear be be same surname, different spelling.
