Children from the James Calvin and Dicy GILES household may (and likely) include the following step, half, and full siblings of William Morgan GILES: Sarah; Dicy (later Mrs. PATTERSON); Nancy; Jennie; Mrs. Henry BALL; Elizabeth; and Mrs. J.C. CARROLL.
James Calvin GILES, a confederate veteran, is listed in the Meigs Co census for 1900 as is his son William Morgan GILES, later city judge of Harriman, TN.
I am looking to share information about the ancestry and descendants of this elusive (to me!) GILES line.
