Shelia, the reason I was insistent about Samuel's middle name is that the marriage info I had for Sarah Renfroe reads like this:
"Sarah Elizabeth Renfro Samuel James Giles Ten Miles Meigs County TN"
Since MY James Giles wasn't married to a Sarah and because he was so close in age to this Giles, I kept skipping right over this information.
I am VERY excited to find someone who connects to my GILES line and will be happy to share and compare. (We always spelled it with the "G" - no wonder I couldn't find you.)
