Surfing through the Meigs posting looking for connections to a Crossland family and the Johnson family and I recently posted this info, but thought I would post it to you as well. This might help you. I found in in the Athens Post, the Athens McMinn Newspaper:
CHANCERY COURT AT CLEVELAND
Abijah JOhnson, Adm. of William Johnson Dec'd vs. Perry Maples, William Johnson & Robert Johnson defendents and Elijah Johnson, Thomas T. Crossland and wife Malinda Crossland, Rachel Johnson, Harrett Johnson and her husband Wesly Johnson and Calven Johnson.
The Account ordered in this cause at the last term of the Court will be taken at the office of the Clerk and Master of Clevelan, on the 6th day of Aug. next, all parties interested will attend with thier proof.
