Hello,
Could someone help?
I am trying to find out how/when Hamilton King Avery's dad, Norman Le Noir Avery wound up in Mineral Wells, Texas, and died there in 1907. Why was he there? Was he sick? Traveling? Can anybody help me find out about getting a copy of his will and a marriage certificate? I feel he must have had property so there must be records. I believe I have discovered his tombstone in Memphis, where he was born. His wife, Minnie Fisher Pullen, died in Memphis in 1929, and I have not discovered another marriage for her, so I do not know if she went with him and returned or they separated or what. He was 54 and she 72. It is a mystery.
Would love contact with relatives! Tall tales welcome.
